Day 2 of the PokerStars Festival Rozvadov Main Event started off with 507 survivors returning to King's Casino. The four-digit field made it the biggest PokerStars event ever in Rozvadov and just proves to show that Leon Tsoukernik and King's Casino were highly successful in making Rozvadov the premier poker destination in Europe.

The total prize pool now stands at €1,098,310, more than doubling the guarantee of €500,000. 215 players were to get paid at least €1,534 for their troubles, but at the end it turned out to be 217 players who will receive a piece of the mammoth prizepool.

On the bubble, two bust-outs were needed before the money would be reached. During hand-for-hand, an all-in and a call took place on four tables, eventually resulting in three bust-outs. As per PokerStars Festival rules, the three bust-outs would share the 215th place cash prize and all walked away happily.

Daniel Heidelbacher, Mario Tiedmann and Pietro Parrino each received €511 as a consolation prize for their shared bust.

Payouts of the event:

Five Indians had made it to Day 2, but among them only Vivek Rughani and Manish Goenka managed to make it in the money while no Indian made it through to Day 3.

Siddharth Jain was among the first Indian players to get eliminated from the event.

Manish Goenka min cashed the event for €1,534.

Vivek Rughani updated about his tournament journey on social media starting with “Thank you all didn’t run like Fedor or Rughani but made Day 2 with 43k, we start at 800/1600 next”.

Sometime later Rughani posted “Doubled to 78K after losing a few chips”, 215 paid 400 or remain up top 146K”. Just one hour later he updated “150K at 2400bb”.

Another two hours and Rughani had almost reached a 200K stack. He posted ”198k at break, 4k BB next, 237 left, 215 paid”

Rughani survived till the money bubble and posted “ITM 1500 locked, 160k at 4k BB now Bada-Bada”

He later added “140k at dinner break, next 6K BB. About time to run good”.

Rughani was looking strong to make a deep run but bad beat hit and he posted about his elimination “Busted QQ vs KJ for 25 bb, CL opens we 3bet from button, Small blind jams for 30bb with King-Jack off-suit, obviously turn K”

Rughani finished in 142nd place for €1,852.

At the end of day’s play, the list showed no Indian survivors and the field of 507 has been decimated to 37 hopefuls who will return for Day 3 of the event.

€2,200 High Roller

Day 1 of the €2,200 High Roller kicked-off with four tables, but the number soon increased with big names getting eliminated from the main event and jumping right into the action again.

Ultimately, 95 unique hopefuls entered and took advantage of the unlimited re-entry option during the first eight levels of 40 minutes each. An additional 23 bullets were fired to create a 118-entry field taking the prize pool to €228,920.

At the end of the day’s play just 30 hopefuls remained and bagged up chips to return for Day 2.

Among Indian players only Santosh Srinivas made it to the Day 2 with 72,500 chips.
