One of the busiest and the biggest Sundays of recent times set the virtual felts on fire yesterday and once again there was a beeline of big winners before dawn on Monday morning.

This Sunday was hyped and for good reason – 9stacks hosted a mega #LFG Vegas Tournament yesterday where five lucky winners won a once-in-a-lifetime chance to attend the biggest poker extravaganza on the planet – World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2018 in Las Vegas. And the lucky winners who will be part of Team India at this years WSOP are Rubin ‘kornkid’ Labroo, Kranthi ‘HuHaBhajan’, Ravi ‘pokerguru’ Shankar, Aakash ‘Drunken Monkey’ Kedia, Vishal ‘spartacus’ Tulsyan and Himanshu ‘NightSins’ Dewan.

Aditya Sushant is a rockstar and there just seems to be no stopping this young poker superstar from Chennai. From chopping the PokerStars Sunday Million to winning a WSOP bracelet, Sushant has done it all and now he has created another record though a small one for his standards. Sushant won the Adda52 Millions yesterday for a consecutive second week, banking ₹6.96 Lakhs this time. Another big winner on Adda52 yesterday was Dhawal ‘Dhawal24’ Lachhwani who took down the Sunday Suits for ₹2.60 Lakhs.

It was a busy weekend at India’s most trusted poker site – PokerBaazi that attracted some of the best online poker tournament players in the country and taking top honors at the Baazi Super Sunday events were Anisha ‘Pocket_Aces’ Pradhan, Ram Lakhan ‘Hitler’ Meena, Monika ‘DrugLord’ Singh and Nikhil ‘rn4516’ Prajapati.

MadOverPoker’s Sunday lineup was headlined by the Hysteria and Dynamite. The Hysteria was taken down by ‘indianpro’ for ₹1.31 Lakhs while the Dynamite found its winner in ‘POKER365’.

Over to world’s largest online poker site – PokerStars, which is set to launch a new segregated player pool client for the Indian market tomorrow on PokerStars.IN and hence this is the last time we bring you a report from the Sunday Million – unless we get a Sunday Million on the new client.  The latest Sunday Million winner was ‘88pro88’ who won $131,164 post a three-way deal and among our Indian challengers, [email protected] made the deepest run and banked $1,514 (~₹99,098) for his 71st place finish.

Team PokerStars pro Aditya ‘Adi Agarwal’ Agarwal was busy making the best out of his last Sunday grind on the international PokerStars client and won $9,773.40 for his 3rd place finish in the PokerStars ‘Bounty Builder $215, $150K GTD’.

#LFGVegas Tournament – 9stacks

The most exciting and unique event on offer yesterday was the 9stacks #LFGVegas Tournament with guaranteed a whopping prize pool of ₹8,50,000 – that translates into 5 Las Vegas packages with ₹1,00,000 reserved for the sixth place finisher.

The ₹11,000 buy-in event started at 3pm yesterday offering everyone a chance at one rebuy. The late registrations were open for two hours and once the entries had all come in, the total tally stood at 78 entries.

The five lucky winners who won the WSOP package with return flights to Las Vegas for a chance at attending the biggest poker extravaganza on the planet - World Series of Poker (WSOP) 2018 along with 11 nights stay at the Rio were Rubin ‘kornkid’ Labroo, Kranthi ‘HuHaBhajan’, Ravi ‘pokerguru’ Shankar, Aakash ‘Drunken Monkey’ Kedia, Vishal ‘spartacus’ Tulsyan and Himanshu ‘NightSins’ Dewan.
